Family Day!

Since I had to work on Labor Day, we decided to take a quick mini-vacay to Chattanooga the day before for some family time together. We went to the Children's Creative Discovery Museum, which was really great. Unfortunately, all the other parents had the same idea for a family outing, so it was SO crowded. Charlie was a bit overwhelmed at first by all the kids, parents, and noise, but he finally found his nitch and seemed to have a really good time.

Here Charlie is playing with magnets (while his Daddy plays in the background)

He LOVED this exhibit and could have stayed for hours!

Alex is having fun teaching Charlie about electricity!

What fun my guys had together!

Playing trains will always be fun!

No naptime= meltdown when it is time to leave...
We stopped for a VERY short visit with Carmen and her family. We hated to leave so quick, but it was good to see them! Carmen was able to get this picture of my guys -- it is my new favorite!
Charlie snuggled up to Lexi (right before he stuck his finger in her eye ... "Look! Eyes!"). Poor Lexi!
Completely tuckered out on the way home!

So good to get some time away together!
