- Did you know it takes a whole lot longer to install curtains than it does for a one-year-old to pull them out the wall? Yep, found that out this week! :)
- So very thankful for the AMPLE amount of childcare that Alex and I have available to us that we don't have to worry about daycare! I am very aware of that this week after a coworker of mine is going through a nightmare! 3 ER visits this week alone with her son following an unsupervised incident at their daycare... he is still not out of the woods, so keep little Ian in your prayers.
- Joy's mouth -- did you guys know that sometimes it runneth over? (My sister is right now screaming, "SOMETIMES??") Well, I learned that (again) the hard way this week at work! My verse to pay attention to this week -- "Proverbs 13:3 "He who guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction."
- Congrats to the Canadas on the birth of beautiful Tatum Ann this past week! We can't wait to meet you sometime soon!
Here are some pictures from this past week or so... a little description with each, of course!
Cutting teeth is no fun, but at least Charlie is ready to support his favorite team!
Saturday was the opening day of Dove Hunting Season (see the things I have learned since marrying Alex?), so the Breeden men (minus Charlie -- he was at the house with Abby) got together at the farm and had a great day together. This picture shows Uncle Dave and Charlie (safely in his stroller) as they clean some of the kill from the day.

Okay, this picture actually disgusts me -- yep, that is one of the doves they got. Alex said Charlie was squealing and laughing, but does this look like laughter to you? My poor, sweet boy...

Our neighbors brought back some treats for Charlie from their beach vacation, including these sunglasses. Alex thinks that Charlie is channeling Elton John in this picture...

This is the look we get every night from the dogs: "Um, excuse us, haven't you forgotten something? We are right outside, we need some attention!!!" Maggie, Lexi, and Queso look just pitiful, don't they?

This is my brother Scott and his girlfriend Jennifer this past week -- happy birthday, Jennifer!~Can't wait to meet you soon!
My thought as I am signing off? "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be always acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, our strength and our Redeemer." (Psalm 19:14)
