18 Months

Yes, baby boy, you are 18 months old today!!! I only spent a minute with first thing in the morning before I left for work at 6:15 this morning, but you snuggled me up like you knew how much I needed that hug this morning!! I wish I could have spent the day with you, but you got the next best thing to hanging out with Mommy and Daddy....Denise and Morgan!!! I hear you were quite the 'social butterfly' at the library during storytime. I wonder where you learned to talk so much!!! :)

At 18 months, these are your favorite things: Monkey and pacy-blanket, your big boy bed, Moose A. Moose, Veggie Tales (but only the song parts), reading, singing, playing with all the kitchen utencils (and reorganizing them to however you see fit), hiding the cordless mouse from my computer, playing in the toilet, climbing on everything in sight, sneaking up the stairs to Daddy's office, eating any kind of fruit, eating Wendy's chicken nuggets, splashing and squealing in the tub, helping 'load' the dishwasher, drinking coke from Granddad's glass, talking on the phone to ANYONE who will listen, and blowing kisses and giving hugs.

What do you not like? Eating the 'first' bite of a new food, any character on Yo Gabba Gabba (but especially the guy with the orange hat), getting your nose cleaned out, the bouncy yoga ball in Daddy's office, all the mounted animals in Daddy's office, and being told NO!!

What a sweet and smart little boy you are becoming. You are the gift we prayed for, but God gave us so much more than we could have ever imagined when He gave you to us! Oh how we love to watch you grow...you are not our baby anymore!

But you will ALWAYS be our baby! We love you more than you will ever know!
