Our Weekend in Pictures

We've had a full weekend here, both at the house and at the farm. One of the stresses that Alex has been dealing with lately has been "when to cut and bale hay" at the farm. Funny, I never imagined that I would be paying attention to the 10-day forecast, but that's what you do when you prepare for hay-balin' time!! Well, it has finally quit raining long enough for Alex to cut hay this weekend. He's been so busy and working so hard (and is sound asleep on the couch right now) -- I am proud of all the hard work he's been doing!

Me and the other man around the house have been just hanging out, enjoying the weekend. Here's some pictures of our family's weekend...

Why buy clothes or toys when he would rather go 'naked' and play with a plastic hanger? He was entertained for hours!

Laughing at Daddy showing all my teeth and LONG hair (first haircut coming soon....)

Daddy and Uncle Dave take a break from working on the tractor.

Charlie is in love with Kamryn, the little girl next door! She kept kissing him and calling him "that bebby boy" in her sweet little doll-like voice.

Here's our little man 'borrowing' Kamryn's car -- he's so tired he's not even smiling!

What a great way to end the weekend -- hanging out with neighbors in the middle of the street laughing together while the kids play. We are blessed to have great neighbors and are so glad to be getting to know them!

BTW -- weekly weigh-in is tomorrow!!!

Charlie might have started out "all Alex", but the older he gets, the more and more he looks like you in the face.

Levi got his first hair cut at 9 months because his bangs covered his eyes. I never thought about how expensive hair cuts can get when you have to get them every 3-4 weeks! Thankfully, Kara's hair doesn't grow nearly that fast!
